Leadership By Example
The most important asset of any company is its people. Leaders are not born; they are developed. Score is proud of the people that are in leadership positions and those that are becoming leaders through the Varsity Program.
THE VARSITY STUDENT
There is no "typical" Varsity student. The Program attracts outstanding students from every background. Although this is a fantastic preparation for business majors, hundreds of non-business majors successfully run their own businesses during the summer. The desire to work, to be teachable, and to follow a proven system are the common characteristics of successful Varsity students.
STUDENT MANAGEMENT
The most important level of management in the Varsity Program is the STUDENT LEADER. After
completing a successful summer, the Student Leader is selected and begins his or her leadership training. Every new student in the Varsity Program works with a Student Leader who leads by example in managing their team during the summer. In this way new students are well supervised, and experienced students gain invaluable leadership experience.
THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
Every Sales Manager has successfully sold books as a student for several summers. Even the President of Score himself started his business career running his own business selling books during the summertime. Since all the Sales Managers have been successful in the program, they understand the challenges, relate well with the students, and are able to successfully guide and coach students through the summer.
